Senior Software Engineer (Java)

Experience: 2 - 4 years

Job Description :
•      Translate technical requirements into well-designed applications under supervision of the lead
•      Come up with efficient, modular and scalable solutions for business and technical problems
•      Break projects into simpler granular tasks, estimate effort required and identify dependencies
•      Write efficient and readable code leveraging on a good understanding of object oriented principles and design patterns
•      Fast prototyping of proof-of concept features / application based on brief unstructured business requirements for getting internal sponsors, customer usability research and A/B testing


Desired Profile:
•      B.E / B.Tech / M.E / M.Tech / M.S in Computer Science, Electronics or related fields from a premier institute
•      3+ years of strong hands-on development experience including at least 1.5 years years of real-world web development experience using JSP, Java Servlets, Java Struts, Spring, Hibernate
•      Habitual writing efficient and readable code and having an appreciation for the same
•      Good understanding of design patterns, object oriented design, and frameworks
•      Client side development experience using XHTML, CSS, JavaScript, AJAX, and JSON is a great plus
•      Good RDBMS skills and experience in DB/SQL
•      Experience with multiple technologies - LAMP, Ruby on Rails, .Net is a great plus
•      Experience owning and working end to end on an application - from system (server, deployment, configuration management) to back end (container, application, database) to front end (jsp, ajax, tiles, css, html, javascript) is preferred
•      Bonus points for experience working on DROOLS or any other rule-engine and SOAP/string based API integrations
•      Experience working with scripting language such as pearl to quickly roll our parsers for analysis and write small modules is preferred
•      Bonus points for previous start-up experience or contribution to any open source project
•      Experience with SCRUM methodology or extreme programming is a great plus
•      Exposure to app servers like JBoss, WebLogic, WebSphere

Online Products Manager

Experience: 10 - 12 years 

Job Description :
•      Accountable for the overall revenue target of the LOB
•      Collaborate with product manager and engineering to conceptualize and develop a deep understanding of customers, identify gaps in core product functionality, and help build the right set of features and then track adoption.
•      Gather detailed functional requirements, identify feature details and document them (PRD: product requirement document) to support rapid development (specifications, schedules, etc.) and effectively manage trade-offs between cost/schedule versus customer benefit
•      Ensure PRDs, flow diagrams and wireframes are properly translated to the live site and drive problem resolution once the new feature has gone live.
•      Engage in strategic creative direction to describe copy and visual design strategy for product and marketing communication.
•      Define and conduct market research to gain knowledge about user behavior and competition. Gather information and data from multiple sources (consumer research, partners, vendors, competitive analysis), develop insights, and translate findings into action.
•      Provide analytics based insights to improve marketing teams capability to calculate return on marketing investments and optimize marketing spend.
•      Working with support teams to manage operational issues such as legal compliance, fulfillment, and managing relationships with external partners and champion customer satisfaction by working with customer support to oversee customer grievance resolution and trouble shooting in case of escalations

Desired Profile:
•      Techno-business background (education or work experience) with 8 - 9 years work experience
•      Bachelors in IT/CS/Engineering and Master's degree in business administration (from a premier institute)
•      Work experience in a startup environment would be great advantage
•      Experience in brand management/sales/distribution of FMCG products/services
•      A high level of interest and passion for consumer internet world, collaboration, passion and user advocacy will be preferred
•      Experience in Market research/product management experience will be a plus
•      International exposure with minimum six years of experience in India.
•      Demonstrate competence in user-centered design methods, systematically gathering data, interpreting the results, identify product opportunities, pain-points and creatively solving product & process challenges
•      Experience in writing business requirements, functional specifications, performing systems analysis and other functions in a way that enables data-driven improvisation iterations
•      Ability to work with cross-functional teams, interface with various support function teams such as technology, marketing, sales, customer support, legal and accounting
•      Distinctive problem solving and Quantitative analytical abilities (Would rather use Excel than Word)
•      Strong attention to detail and pride in thorough and structured thought process
•      Well-organized, ability to juggle multiple responsibilities, stretch resources and compresses time
