iOS7, the latest version of iOS with completely redesigned user interface, got released few months back, and amidst all the criticism, it recorded highest adoption rates! Our own Analytics data showed an impressive proportion of users upgrading their iOS soon after the release. We pulled up our sleeves and started working for a major design upgrade.
We’re excited to announce that our app redesigned for iOS7 and optimized for iPad is available on the App Store !
This is the first time, we’re moving away from our current blue green theme (screenshot on the left) towards an interface (screenshot on the right) which looks more native to iOS7 and is more pleasing to eyes. Following iOS7 design guidelines, the redesigned app uses an edge to edge design, reduces clutter, and provides more intuitive controls.
Another major highlight of this release is the app being optimized for iPad!
Now, you won’t see the iPhone version stretched out to fit your iPad screen but the interface is specifically designed to make use of the space available on iPad screen. Thanks to the larger screen area, we’ve been able to reduce the number of different screens you need to traverse for making use of any of the services available on MobiKwik. This iPad optimized experience is easier to use and aesthetically superior to the previous version.
