Available at Rs. 50 for the first 10,000 users, TravelPass offers 5% flat discount and free travel insurance cover of up to Rs 3 Lakhs on every bus booking done through MobiKwik, for a year

New Delhi, October 20th 2017: Indian mobile wallet major, MobiKwik, today announced the launch of Travel Pass. Available at Rs. 50 for the first 10,000 users, travel pass offers 5% flat discount on all bus journeys booked for a year.The actual price for the pass is Rs 250.

Speaking at the launch Vineet Singh, Chief Business Officer at MobiKwik, said, “At MobiKwik, we are doing upto 8,000 bus tickets per day, and with the launch of TravelPass, we aim to double this number in the next 1 year.”

Users will also get free travel insurance cover of up to Rs 3 Lakhs on every journey. A dedicated on-call customer support has been set up to cater to TravelPass users. Also, to protect TravelPass holders from fluctuating cancellation policies of bus operators, MobiKwik has relaxed the rates for the maximum benefit of the user.

“Millennials constitute 75% of our users and they love to travel throughout the year. TravelPass will help them save on every bus journey, irrespective of the time of booking. We are getting a tremendous response from our users, and have already sold over 2,000 passes on day one of the launch.” Vineet added.
