The International Surajkund Crafts Mela has gone cashless this year by partnering with Mobikwik. The parking, entry tickets, purchases inside for goods or food/drinks has all been MobiKwik enabled to make sure that both visitors and participants have a comfortable experience at the Mela this year. With several offers & schemes available at the venue, Mobikwik has made it possible to make sure that visitors get to take a piece of the Mela with them.

The fair, which sees over one million footfalls and has 20 countries as participants this year will see MobiKwik making the fair an overall success by making both artisans and visitors realise the benefits of going cashless the Mobikwik way. For the past many years, there had been a demand to make the fair much more people friendly and transaction friendly and it is Mobikwik which has taken the lead by being the first wallet player to be part of the largest crafts festival in the world. The fair will see both Indian & International performances and cuisines from participating countries. With Mobikwik showing the way for cashless transactions only with their smartphones and the Mobikwik app, we will see artisans from across the country exploring the benefits of the app in receiving payments from visitors straight to their accounts without the hassle of putting cash at a safe place. They will also see the ease with which they can do other transactions on the platform like buying bus tickets, buying rail tickets, making payments and so much more. Coupled with all the cashbacks & exclusive offers that MobiKwik has it is a complete win-win situation for the participants at the fair.

Even for the visitors to the fair, the benefits of the MobiKwik platform are tremendous. Right from buying tickets, to paying for parking, to purchasing their things of choice to paying for the variety of cuisine and so much more- everything can be done on MobiKwik.

Upasana Taku, Co-Founder MobiKwik, said, “India is changing and the masses ate developing the habit of paying cashless. We are proud to become the digital payments partner for the most prestigious crafts fair in the category, attended by lakhs of visitors. We will be educating participating artisans and visitors on making digital payments using our application to ensure that we are successful in our endeavour to turn the Mela cashless”. To help users go cashless, MobiKwik will be providing free Wi-Fi at the venue to allow for seamless transactions.

As the official wallet partner for the International event, MobiKwik has come up with several offers for both the artisans and the visitors at the fair and this will make the event a very memorable and hassle-free event this year.
