Dear MobiKwik.com Users,

In the past week, you have probably been dissatisfied with MobiKwik.com. We have probably not been able to live up to our usual standard of customer service and site availability. And there is a reason for this – we have been busy dealing with a security threat to our website.

We would like to inform you that recently, a hacker was able to gain unauthorized access to some parts of our IT systems. Post this event, we have taken several steps to reinforce our security systems and protect our user accounts. We have worked very hard to restore services at MobiKwik.com. We take this unauthorized access very seriously and are taking the appropriate legal action.

We have been informed that some users received emails pretending to have come from MobiKwik employees or MobiKwik servers. These emails offered to sell confidential data about our users. These emails are malicious and were sent with an intention to hurt our community of Mobikwik users. MobiKwik.com is an ecommerce startup that values its users, brand and reputation. We are here to win your loyalty and trust.

If you as a MobiKwik customer have faced irregular balance changes on your account please fill in a Support ticket. Our support team will address every complaint and get it resolved as soon as possible. Users who are facing any payment or recharge issue should kindly fill in a Support ticket and be patient. Due to the issue explained above, it will take a little longer than normal to resolve your problems.

I also received the email. And I think it's false.

BTW, why are Airtel recharges not available? I have some money in my balance. Can that be refunded, if the recharge is not possible?

      Hello Karan !

The email you've received is totally false. We are having issues due to someone's nasty hoax (like a virus) attack. We are working hard to recover and secure our system.
Please be assured that any issue with your account, such as log in problems, loss of balance, will be certainly resolved. Should you have any such issues, contact support at-
      http://www.mobikwik.com/startSupport.do

Regarding your Airtel recharges. Due to some issues with operator, Airtel recharges are unavailable. We encourage you to use existing balance to recharge any other operator than Airtel. If you urge to ask for refund, please quote the same in support request. Payments department will reply you regarding the same.
